Name:
Emilio
Gender:
Male
Myers-Briggs Type:
INFJ-T - https://www.16personalities.com/infj-strengths-and-weaknesses
Personality:
Emilio suffers from stuttering. He often stumbles over his words and finds himself knotted up in tangles from trying to get his sentences out right. Because he was made fun of as a kid for his stuttering, he has a hard time opening up to others and being a talkative boa. Because of his extreme aversion to speech, some boas think that he's actually mute! He can talk, however - he just often chooses not to do so. He'd honestly rather be working in his woodcutting shop or reading a book than socializing with others. He hates being the center of attention. He absolutely despises debate, and will never participate in anything where he'll be able to easily hurt someone else's feelings. He never wants to make someone else feel how the bullies of his youth made him feel, so Emilio does his best to not speak up and let others do the talking instead of saying something stupid and hurting somebody else. He also doesn't justify his behaviors, as doing so generally involves a lot of talking. Because he doesn't talk much, he often gets lost in his own thoughts and sometimes loses track of his surroundings because of the intensity of his imagination.
Never feeling superior to anyone nor one to become easily envious of others, Emilio doesn't treat others badly. Very thoughtful and kind, he does his best to treat others as he'd like to be treated, gifting them with small heart chains that he makes himself. Both creative and practical, he is a great gift-giver. He's quite a talented woodworker, so he'll often carve out pieces and then put them all together to make one beautiful masterpiece. After all, the wood won't talk back to him, so he need not worry about being a bad conversationalist with it. His home and work environments are quite tidy. He isn't a clean-freak by anyone's standards, but likewise is not a slob, either. He does his best to keep things orderly so that he can easily find things and not be in a frantic rush trying to find what he needs to find to get on with his day.
Emilio can sometimes get stressed. He's not the most emotionally stable individual around, honestly. If you overstep his very clear boundaries, he'll break down crying or shaking. He's prone to anxiety attacks if he's too stressed or pressured. He isn't relaxed if he's facing a ticking clock or a countdown of any type, and he has massive problems meeting deadlines not because he isn't a hard worker, but because he has never done well under extreme pressure. He also has a problem with others hurting him too easily - he's been called "too sensitive" by a lot of individuals, but he tries not to let their words sting him. Prone to obsess and worry thanks to a slight hint of OCD, Emilio can sometimes be frantic if he doesn't keep himself in check and logically think his way out of any weird situations. He worries a lot about how his actions will affect others, and if his words have hurt anyone around him. He also will change his actions and personality to suit those around him better - if there's someone loud and brash around him, he'll clam up more than usual and not talk unless directly asked a question. Likewise, if there's someone around him that's quiet like he is, he is more willing and able to calm down and be himself without fear of being judged by the other individual. Emilio often feels insecure - not about his work, but about himself and how he comes across to others. He truly does worry too much about what others think about him.
Overall, Emilio is a kind and caring individual who sometimes just gets too emotionally involved for his own good. He does his best to treat others how he'd want to be treated, and is honestly a very sweet and caring feather boa who'd rather worm his way into your heart than mess with your head anyday, be that through his small gestures of kindness or through making something amazing for you with his claws at his wood workshop.
